The architecture industry constitutes the foundation of society and plays an indispensable role in any times. It requires for constant creation and progress. The teaching program of this curriculum covers a wide range of disciplines, such as history, design, environment, equipment, construction and production. A lot of options are available for you to choose, like to be an architect, a technician in equipment and construction, etc. To study architecture, you need to grasp a wide range of knowledge, just as you have to learn extensively to find the proper orientation. Development and research on urban technology that creates coexistence of man and environment
Our goal is to create a “field” space capable of demonstrating city characteristics and harmonious urban environment with all dynamic elements of “mobility” necessary to urban construction. This teaching program requires for a wide range of environment-based hardware and engineering technology in respect of software that involves interpersonal communication and information exchange. In order to acquire plentiful expertise, we emphasize on the teaching in five aspects: on-site experiential practice and experiments, cooperation with the real society, practical training with less participants, practical knowledge and international exchange. This curriculum is composed of urban space plan, urban basic engineering, urban environmental engineering and urban information engineering and integrates multiple subjects of urban planning, living environment program, urban space design, urban construction project, urban disaster prevention, urban infrastructure, urban facility construction, environmental management, environmental energy, environmental recycle, urban mathematics, urban information and communication to make constant progresses for the research education.

Cultivate designers with sensible and intellectual qualities
Design is able to solve the problems facing us no matter life and living environment and develop them into better and high-quality objects. At present, design has attracted close attention from all fields. This curriculum not only penetrates into cultural life, but also blends technology and science and advocates education and research realizing arts, humanity as well as enriching designs. We strive to cultivate such talents that they are capable of responding to multiple demands, leading the design field and active in the international arena. Among the previous graduates, some became designers, engaged in the businesses of planning, designing and development in the manufacturing industry, such as automobiles, precision machinery, home appliances and furniture, information industry and regional development industries, etc., the others turned teachers in domestic design-specialized university and design researchers in trial and research institutes. It is them who are active in the front that pave a bright and broad way.

All industrial products are manufactured with the mechanical engineering expertise, from the daily products to cosmic space products, from the large-scale machinery to the atom-sized compositions, along with the transport machinery, information equipment, medical apparatus and instruments. Applying the physical, chemical, biological phenomena to engineering and developing new areas of knowledge are also important missions of mechanical engineering which carries on the cutting-edge part of engineering. It covers extensive fields. This curriculum, based on the learning of mathematics, physics, etc., is designed to study professional disciplines, then graduation research. The graduates as mechanical technicians have opened up a promising road in the frontlines of various enterprises and organizations.

Cultivate engineers devoted to health, medical care and well-being
Since our country has ushered in an ultra-aging society that had yet to happen in the past, the society requires for a group of engineering technicians with extensive knowledge and high-level practical ability in aspects of health, medical care and well-being. This curriculum attempts to cultivate such talents in demand in a small-scale education environment. Through handouts and researches, comprehensive abilities of finding and solving problems, logical thinking and communication will be trained to master. As regards to research cases, they are capable of the research and development on the treatment and acquisition of images and signals procured from CT and MRI, ultrasound, PET, fundus camera, endoscopy and other diagnostic devices, on the micro-trauma, safety-improved surgical technique and auxiliary equipment, and also on the apparatuses protecting and caring for the elderly and the disabled as well as scientific evaluations of the safety of medical apparatus and instruments.

From the basic disciplines of electrical and electronic engineering to advanced application fields
As a most important basic technology penetrating into various engineering fields, the electrical and electronic engineering has laid a solid foundation for social development. The learning of electrical and electronic engineering related curriculum not only enables students to grasp the basic knowledge in this respect for their future accomplishments, but also helps them to collaborate with other talents in other technical or non-engineering fields in future work so as to cultivate them into talents both capable of creating new technologies and equipped with cross-disciplinary or marginal disciplinary qualifications. This curriculum starts from the basic disciplines of electromagnetic mechanics and circuit theory, covers information communication which plays a solid fundamental role in the highly informationalized society and includes knowledge and application technology of energy conversion which sustains the civilized society as well as other fields necessary to the development of various semiconductor integration circuits, materials and latest electronic engineering, like computer hardware and software and robot control. In this way, students are able to conduct comprehensive practice of education and research in a wide range of fields.

Material Science that can lay varied social basis
Material science mainly includes material-related physical chemistry, nanoscience, equipment engineering and image science. Through the studying of material science and its application under the basic disciplines of highly informationalized society, we will cultivate talents giving full plays in material science related fields. So far, many engineering innovations have been made of certain substances and materials by tangible and visible means. Even in the virtual world, what presented before us is also a kind of substance. To maximize the utility of innovative fruits, it’s required not only to know the inherent part of materials, but to process them into specific objects on the basis of understanding the characteristics of each material. This curriculum strives to cultivate T-type talents both with basic knowledge of solid physical chemistry and extensive knowledge of material properties, equipment, image science, etc.

It aims to develop human resources responsible for the development of new chemical and chemical process.
Three specialized courses: bio-related, applied chemistry, and environmental harmony. Four research fields: biofunctional chemistry, environmentally harmonized molecular chemistry, inorganic / measurement chemistry, and resource process chemistry.

Use information technology to support a cozy and safe society
In all aspects of our lives, "information" has become an indispensable necessity like electricity, gas and water. No matter the automatic driving and speech translation relatively familiar to us, or intelligent sensing system applied to take care of babies and attend the elderly, information has made the society more colorful, comfortable, fast, convenient and efficient. On the other hand, building a solid and reliable security system capable of preventing the information from being stolen has become a very important subject. In order to make the society more comfortable and safer, also to lay a firm foundation, this curriculum, on the basis of harmonious coexistence of men and informationalized society, extensively covers the basic information field based on the mathematical theory and also includes application fields of hardware and software, multimedia, etc. It attempts to cultivate talents who pioneer the future and make contributions to the development of informationalized society through the studying of relevant knowledge and techniques in respect of information acquisition, storage, processing, transmission and display.
